Guild Guidelines

1. QUEST REQUESTS

If you need help finding an item for an uber faerie quest, first check our own guild members shops.
Barm84 - Clothing for Fire Faerie quests.
Neonutzguy - Books for Water Faerie quests.
Icehatchet - Cards for Light Faerie quests.
For other uber faeries or if you can not find the item in a guild member shop, please put the name of the item you need AND which uber faerie wants it. For snow faerie, kitchen, esophagor, and brain tree quests you can search on the shop wizard as usual.
When someone sees your request, they then can post which shops they found the item in for you to go and buy. If they are extra nice and send you the item you need, be nice back and send them a present and say thank you. They spent their hard earned nps just for you, so repay the favor. If someone doesn't reply to your request for help right away, don't get impatient or angry. Your post might have been missed. A gentle reminder that you're still waiting can do wonders :) If all else fails and you're in a big hurry, you can always go to the neopets chats. There's a quest section where you can ask for help.

2. HEALING ITEMS/CURES

Don't ask other members (or the guild) to give you expensive/unbuyable cures when your pet gets sick. We have a sick pet policy in place. Please read the Sick Pet Help in the Hints and Tips section for more information.

3. POSTING IN ALL CAPS OR GLOWING

Please don't post your whole message all in caps. On the Internet, that is seen as yelling. No one likes to get yelled at. Please don't post messages all in glowing text. One word or two is fine, but when it's the whole message, it makes it hard for others to read. For information on how to change your fonts and text click HERE.

4. GALLERY OR DONATION REQUESTS

We have a section on the Advertisement Board in the Guild Database where we keep a list of all the people who collect certain items. Don't ask on the boards for donations. This is a guild, not a charity organization. If you want to have your name added to the list, contact ICEHatchet. If a member is trying to accomplish a certain goal in Neopia, such as collecting avatars, politely asking for assistance is allowed, but not repeated begging posts one after another. No one in the guild is expected to contribute to the goals of another member.

5. CODESTONES

The guild has a codestone exchange set up. Icehatchet runs it for the Guild. Check out the Advertisement Board in the Guild Database for the full details.

6. NO WHINING

Please don't whine on the boards if there's no one there to talk to. There are slow times on Neopets and others may not be there or are off playing games. Don't post over and over saying how bored you are and how others are ignoring you.

7. KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT SAFE

Please don't post on the board your account balances or tell others that you have a lot of neopoints. While this is a terrific guild, we try to protect everyone as much as possible. Don't make yourself a target for scammers and hackers.

8. NEW MEMBERS

This is a closed guild for the protection of our members. Please do refer all potential new members or previous members wishing to be reinstated to either barms84 or bettyboopbaby.

Quick Tips

*Snowie Times: (Neopian Time) 6am, 2pm, 10pm

*Half price day: Every 3rd day of the month, all shops (except for Hidden Tower and Krawk island) are half price.

*How to get promoted: Post on the board, help other members out and participate in guild competitions and raffles. Read the guild rank guide.

*Once an auction or trade is over, it sometimes takes a few minutes to receive the items. If you do not receive them right away, don't panic, it'll come.

SECURITY~Please Note:

It is the general rule of the Guild that when you suffer a loss due to scamming or hacking that your first action should be to report your loss to neopets.

You should then report your loss to a member of your Guild Council. This will enable management to take immediate action to suspend any suspect account.

By suspending the account we can prevent intruders from any interaction within the guild. They cannot read or post messages on the guild board.

Management will then investigate and ensure that the correct account holder is reinstituted or has possession of a new account before assistance to reinstate is sent from our members.

You should therefore please refrain from sending assistance until a official notice is posted. I know how much you each like to send your personal gifts and once official sanction has been posted I know these will be appreciated.

We have already as you know fund raising projects within the Guild. These projects fund the Competitions and Events for all our members and also have always supplied assistance to members who suffer loss. If you wish to support fund_raising for Guild projects then purchasing from Guild Shops and entering our Competitions is very much appreciated.

There has and will not be any change to these arrangements.

someone who is an expert at something or who has great ability in a particular subject

~~~ Please Note~~~

All new members are ranked as novice for a period of one month.
They are then automatically promoted to acolyte.

When an acolyte becomes more active in the guild, posting, helping novices, sharing knowledge etc they are promoted to sage and so on.

The highest rank our members attain is guru. These members are usually very active in the guild, donating, helping others, sharing knowledge and regularly checking all is well.

As you can go up in rank so too you can go down in rank. It all depends on the activity of a member, not just the number of postings they make.

The wizard rank is given to a member who is actively doing a job for the guild on the request of a member of council.

If a wizard ceases to do that job for the guild they will automatically become a guru. This should not be thought of as a demotion. It is a matter of administration.

All of our members are highly thought of and respected. We understand that some may have more time available to help at the guild than others and appreciate the individual input of all members.
