- Start an account as soon as you can. You will earn a few extra neopoints (NP) for starting the account. Also, you will earn interest for the NP that are in the bank at 1200 (midnight) neopian time. Just use fake info for the initial sign up that asks for your occupation, address, etc. Be sure to collect your interest each day as part of your daily rounds. The interest does not carry over. If you earn 10 NP a day in interest and don't collect it for 3 days, you will still only be able to collect 10 NP when you go to collect it. Be sure to check at the bottom of the page when at the bank and upgrade your account everytime you can. You do not have to make an additional deposit to upgrade your account, if there is already enough NP in your account to increase it's level. The higher the level, the higher the interest rate that you will receive. If you withdraw NP do NOT change the account to a lower level to match the NP you have in the account.

- Keep all but a few hundred dollars of your money in the bank. This keeps you from needlessly spending. - Put everything that you aren't using in your safety deposit box. This is smart for two reasons: 1. If you find a good sale at a shop, then you won't have to worry about exceeding your 50 item capacity. 2. If the Pant Devil surprises you, he won't steal that expensive item you just bought! - Remember to collect your interest at the bank EVERY day. It doesn't hold over to the next day. - The Pant Devil normally steals the most expensive item you have, or the rarest. He will also steal money. The more money you have, the more he'll steal. That is why the bank is a great place to keep your money
