When the map is completed, you will be able to collect your prize! Each actual map piece is an item, and this means that it can be stolen, traded, sold, auctioned, disintegrated, and so on... so be very careful!" That's what Neopets say for Treasure Hunt. Keep your map pieces stored away in your safety deposit box until you have them all, to keep them safe from thieves. You can redeem the map pieces for random nps and item prizes. As the prizes are random, sometimes you may not make a profit. (By collecting all the secret laboratory map pieces, you can redeem them for an nps prize and you also get daily access to the lab ray.)
