Pyramids Basics
submitted by comet_steve |
Objective: To clear the cards How to achieve: It's a pyramid of cards, starting with 7 cards face up. As you move the cards from the pyramid more cards are revealed. All you have to do is get them from the pyramid to the pile up the top, sounds easy, right? Well, now comes the twist, you can only put cards up that either follow or precede the one on the top of the pile. For example, if there is a 3, you can only put either a 2 or 4 on it, however if you have a run 2,3,4,5 and so on you can place all of those up. To help you along, there are 23 cards you can use to change the number. What are you waiting for, GO PLAY!! Daily limit: 5,000NP. You can play as many games as you want but can only earn a maximum of 5000np per day..

Pyramids Strategy

The gist of the game is to remove all the face down cards from lay. Look at your face up discard. You can now remove cards that are 1 higher or 1 lower then the discard. As cards from the pyramid are removed and higher level cards are uncovered, you can turn these cards over and they are now in play to be removed. For example: Lets say you remove 1 card from the bottom layer and get 3 points. If you draw a card which allows you to remove another card from the bottom layer then you will only get 3 points. If you can remove multiple cards from the bottom layer then the points you might get could be like this. 3,5,7,9,12,15 for a total score of 51 points. The higher the card in the pyramid is the higher the point value. If you clear the board I think you get bonus points. (I have only cleared the board 9 times so I am not sure of this) At the time of writing this article, the points you win equate the NP you earn from the game.
