About me: I am a science teacher. I graduated in Dec. 2001, finally, after 6 & 1/2 years of work! I couldn't decide what I wanted to get my degree in, so I kept changing my major. I have a TON of extra credit hours! Some of my majors include: biochemistry, agriculture economics, computer science, and biology. I finally decided, and finished with a degree in biology education, which means I took almost all of the classes required to get a B.S. in biology, plus a bunch of education classes. Then I took about a zillion certification tests, and I completed my residency (first) year of teaching in the '02-'03 school year (you have a committee that observes your teaching throughout your first year and decides whether you get a certificate or not). I now am the proud holder of an Oklahoma Teaching Certificate! I am currently teaching 8th grade science. It's fun, but really hard work. Those kids are nuts! :)

I am married to a great guy, who's an engineer. We want to move into a bigger house so we can have a baby. Our current house of 1000 square feet is a bit small for us and our two pupsters, much less a baby, so we are saving to have a house built for us.

I love to read and garden. Our dogs are a constant source of laughter, for which we love them both dearly. Our Beagle is as stubborn as they come, and he hates to have to move when he's sleeping. He'll grumble and gripe if you tell him to get off our bed & go to his own. It's so funny! Our Yorkie has to have been exposed to nuclear waste or something, because he's HUGE!! He weighs almost 20 lbs, and we call him our Godzilla Yorkie. He's got air for brains, but we love him anyway. He likes to be petted CONSTANTLY and will pace back and forth in front of you "talking" and sneezing and curling his lips (like he's smiling) until you pick him up and scratch his tummy. He's a goofball, and pesters the Beagle mercilessly. We call them our poop-slices. (It's my husband's thing...he calls me his babe-slice.)

That's me in a nutshell, I guess. Hope it's a small enough nutshell....
